POTATO AND GROOT CHICKEN CAKES

 


INGREDIENTS
 
  • 400gr GROOT Chicken finely chopped
  • 1 kilo boiled mashed potatoes
  • 1 beaten egg
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 tablespoon parsley
  • 1 teaspoon mixed spice
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil

    Oven temperature:
    200C / 400F
    Gas Mark 6

  • METHOD

    Mix all the ingredients together.

    Add the beaten egg and mix well. This forms a stiff mixture.

    Lightly grease a non-stick oven tray with olive oil.

    Using an ice-cream scoop place portions of the mixture on to the greased tray and flatten with a fork.

    Bake in a pre-heated oven for 30 minutes.

    Serve with some tomato sauce.

    200C / 400F

    Hallat l-ingredjenti kollha flimkien.

    Zid il-bajda mhabbta u hawwad tajjeb. Ghandu jkollok tahlita maghquda.

    Idlek biz-zejt dixx tal-forn non stick.

    Bl-iscoop tal-gelat hu ftit, ftit mit-tahlita u poggiha fuq id-dixx.
    Iccattja b'furketta.

    Ahmi ghal 30 minuta fil-forn, li jkun msahhan minn qabel.
